If your child loves to laugh, loves a goofy clown, party tricks then why not consider hiring a clown. Not only will they take the hard work out of entertaining the children but the parents will like the show with the goofy shoes and outfit. What do Clowns do?

Depending on the type of clown or the requests of the party planner then the clown will perform the entertainment that is desired. If you know that you child is going to have a bad reaction to the ‘clown’ although would be extremely entertained with the clown tricks and amusement, then it might be a good idea to talk to the company that you have hiring the clown from. The company may have an idea regarding this situation, possibly the clown doesn’t wear the white face make up with big red smiling lips to the party. Or even send a female clown may assist with the situation. It might also be a good idea to mention to your guest’s parents that a clown will be hired during the birthday party and discuss any concerns from the parents.

Is Hiring a Clown Right for Your Party?

There are a few things to think about prior to booking in the Entertainer,

Firstly; what is your budget? Depending on the amount that you wish to spend then it will depend on the amount of time that you can hire the entertainer. This means if you have a smaller budget then a clown for only 2 hours might appropriate.

Secondly; how does your child manage with people dressed up? Do they like clowns? Do they enjoy getting Santa’s photograph? Just have a quick thought to ensure that you hiring the most appropriate person for the job and not your child’s nightmare.
